RECREATION
PHOTO ID: |
- Recreation Center ID cards are required for reduced
admission to any City of Thornton Recreation facility.
- Proof of residency is required to receive a Resident
card.
- Cards are valid for two years.
- Card fees are $5 for residents, $7 for nonresidents
- Children age 5 years and younger are not required to
have their own card if accompanied by a parent/guardian with the
appropriate ID card.
- Due to system limitations, a delay may be experienced
in the processing of the card.
- Cards may be purchased at the Carpenter Recreation
Center or the Thornton Community Center.
- If an ID card is lost the holder must purchase
another card, which will be valid for two years.
- A minor (17 and younger) must be accompanied by a
parent or guardian when purchasing a Recreation Center ID card.
The adult must meet the residency requirements of the minor.
- Refunds are not issued to residents who have
purchased ID cards and have since moved outside Thornton boundaries.

- Any person owning taxable real or personal property
within Thornton boundaries.
- Any person permanently residing within the City of
Thornton (but who may not necessarily own property).

Your admission fee includes full use of the
entire facility including racquetball, weight rooms,
swimming pools, fitness classes, running track, hot tub and saunas, cardiovascular equipment and
showers/lockers. Remember, some age limitations apply in various areas of the facility.

Annual Pass
A
Family Annual pass is computed as follows for each individual: The
most expensive family member pays 100%. The second most expensive
family member pays 50 percent of the Individual Annual pass fee. Third and fourth family members pay 50 percent of the Individual Annual
Pass fee if 17 years or younger.
Additional family members pay:
Residents: $25 (Child 3
- 12) or $30 (youth 13 - 17) each.
Nonresidents:
$30 (child) or $35 (youth)
each. |
