Preschool teddy bearPreschool Program

Effective June 3, 2002; the City of Thornton Preschool Program was State licensed for 2 ˝ to 6 year olds. We will present a curriculum in a play-based environment with emphasis on socialization. Age appropriate activities and materials will be used for arts, crafts, books, music and dramatic play. Our main purpose is to promote self-esteem through positive interactions between children and teachers, with developmentally appropriate learning experiences and activities. Our overall goal is to help each child develop to his or her fullest potential –emotionally, physically, creatively and socially.

Parents Please Note:

  • All participants must provide proof of age at the time they register for these classes (birth certificate).
  • Parents will receive a Parent Handbook at registration, or on the first day of classes.
  • Participants must reach the designated age by the first day of class.
  • Parents must sign their child in and out of all classes.
