Trunk or Treaters spend the evening going from trunk to trunk, collecting candy from volunteers who have decorated their vehicles to serve as a backdrop for this spooktacular event!
Before your departure, be sure to stop by the GARDEN OF THE GHOULS haunted walk for more Halloween thrills and chills! The Garden of the Ghouls is not designed to be appropriate for children under the age of 10. Our performers are not able to restructure their performances for younger or vulnerable audiences if they become excessively scared. Please use your best judgment. The BOO BAYOU children's area with it's much gentler Halloween thrills, is perfect for the younger spooks, but if you do decide to bring your child(ren) under 10 to the Garden of the Ghouls, the child(ren) must be accompanied by a parent at all times.
Due to the popularity of this event, the admission line will be cut off prior to the end of the event in order to adhere
to the 9 p.m. closing time.
Volunteers will be asked to decorate their trunk or tailgates and provide them as stopping points for candy distribution at this event. Each trunk will be given four passes for children in their group wishing to trunk or treat. Any additional children will need to pay the $1 admission fee. All interested volunteers please call 720-977-5917 or fill out the registration form on the next page. First, second and third place "People's Choice" awards will be announced on the Trunk or Treat Web page the Monday after the event.
Candy Partners Wanted!
Candy Partners are businesses or individuals who donate a minimum of $85 ($40 for non-profit organizations) in monetary support of this event. In return for this donation your name or company name will be included in the Candy Partners section of the program handout that will be made available to each participant. Your name or company name will also be listed on our Trunk or Treat portion of the City of Thornton website as well as on signage located at the site the night of the event. ONLY CANDY PARTNERS WILL BE PERMITTED TO PROMOTE THEIR BUSINESS AND/OR DISTRIBUTE LITERATURE OR PROMOTIONAL ITEMS IN ADDITION TO CANDY. NO PERFORMING WILL BE ALLOWED.

Candy Contributors will not be permitted to promote their business or distribute business literature on-site.
